This version reimagines the brilliant musical by composer Lucy Simon and playwright Marsha Norman. Orphaned in India, young Mary Lennox is sent to Yorkshire to live in the household of her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald. The estate's many wonders include Lilys garden which beckons her with haunting melodies and spirits from the past. Along the way she encounters Dr. Craven, Mrs. Medlock, Martha, Dickon, Archibalds son Colin and others. Each plays a part in guiding her towards a blossoming new life filled with compassion and love.
