Monsters and vampires and mummies, oh my! The Off Broadway Theatre in Draper is bringing its version of these ghouls to the stage in Forever Dead, opening September 30 and playing through October 29.This Halloween special is a comedic musical revue, designed to bring a fun shiver to your spine, but even more to leave you in stitches with laughter. If you are wondering, what if that monster in my closet is just lonely? What if they were just missing their mummy? The show encourages audiences to look beyond the creatures grisly or furry faces to the hearts underneath. Forever Dead is a sendup of the classic Forever Plaid, written by local playwright Eric R. Jensen and directed by Tonya Huso. This show is double cast, with an all-female cast for the first time, alternating performances with the traditional male cast. Audiences will want to come twice to see two entirely different takes on the same material.
