The Off Broadway Theatre (OBT), celebrating 17 years of comedy and original parody, is pleased to announce the opening of The Phantom of the OBT, running Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays from February 11 through March 19, 2011. Curtain at 7:30 PM. All seating is reserved.

Off Broadway's latest offering of romance and mayhem, Phantom is an original parody by OBT Creative Director Eric R. Jensen that takes a twist on one of the most well known romantic stories of our time, the Phantom of the Opera. Strange deaths happen here to those who don't follow the bidding of the Phantom. Watch as love blossoms between a returned missionary and his long-lost love. In this story, Christine Daee, a local girl from Salt Lake City, finds true love from returned missionary Raoul Marriott, to the great dismay of her mysterious tutor and supporter, the Phantom. What will the Phantom do? How will this love story get unmasked? Will love prevail? Absolutely! Share a fun night of laughter with your date or with the entire family.
Starring Jake Ulasich and Erik Sumner alternating as the Phantom, Jamie Taylor and April Tritchler as Christine, Aaron Bellis as Raoul, and Clarence Strohn as Joseph Buquet.
