The Grand Theater and Salt Lake Film Society present a free screening of the film "Xanadu", Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Theatre, 1575 South State Street. The film, starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly is set in the 1980's.

Adapted from a Samuel Taylor Coleridge poem, "Xanadu" tells the story of a young artist who meets a mysterious woman who helps him create a new concept by partnering with a construction mogul. Music by the Electric Light Orchestra and animation by Don Bluth are features of this classic film. 

 

The Grand Theatre is producing the stage play "Xanadu" May 8-26, 2012. Ticket prices are $10-$24 and can be obtained by calling the Grand Theatre box office at (801) 957-3322 or online at www.the-grand.org.
