On Pitch Performing Arts (OPPA!) Layton's ONLY live Theatre Opens their HUGE family friendly SUMMER SHOW! The Wizard of Oz! OPPA! in Layton Utah is so excited to bring to life the characters from the classic family show, The Wizard of Oz!

The Wizard of Oz is full of amazing costumes, sets, voices, and actors that all come together brilliantly to create a magical show for all ages on the stage at OPPA!

The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy (Lindsey Pagano) on the journey we all know and love where she meets the Scarecrow (Jake Adams) the Tin Man (Indy Washburn) The Lion (Brandon Stauffer) Glinda the Good Witch (Candra Young) and the Wicked Witch (Sue Alvey) along the yellow brick road. Along with the amazing talent of the leads come over 35 other actors who bring to life all the characters that we love in The Wizard of Oz! This family friendly show with actors as young as 6 and a few... older than that has something for the whole family!

The stage version at OPPA! brings together the sepia tones of Kansas with the beautiful colors of Oz to give your senses a feast as you watch the show!

The Wizard of Oz is directed by Charlene Adams with musical direction by Catherine Washburn. "I love this show," said Charlene Adams, she continues "it takes me back to my childhood as I watch the characters dance across the stage. I love seeing the eyes of children light up as they discover this show for the first time, don't miss our amazing cast!"

OPPA! exists to educate, entertain, and inspire children, adults and audiences with theatrical productions that range from musicals, plays, and new works; we train and support the next generation of theatre artists; we provide arts education programs that promote life-long learning; and we celebrate the power of theatre to bring together our community.
