It's the Best Christmas Pageant Ever- or is it? A small church is going to have a retelling of the Christmas Story this year and it's going to be just wonderful. But when the town hoodlums, the Herdman's, start showing up to get the free snacks, they are given parts in the pageant and all hell breaks loose. The Leishman Hall at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre is the perfect space for this charming, uproarious comedy.
The Herdman's, ugh. Those kids are the worst! They swear, steal, drink, and even
smoke. Now they have parts in this year's Christmas Pageant and they are going to ruin everything! They haven't even heard of the Christmas story and NO the Three Wisemen aren't a bunch of spies. This year's pageant is, quite possibly, going to be the worst in the history of pageants, or maybe it will turn out to be The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
Join in this lively, sweet play about redemption and the true meaning of Christmas.
Directed by Wendy Inkley, and a wonderful cast full of misfits, this production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" will have audiences laughing in the aisles and wiping tears from their eyes.
