Today Salt Lake Comic Con (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) revealed the first six celebrity guests that will be attending FanXperience 2016, scheduled for March 24-26, 2016, at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

The first round of FanX 2016 guest announcements include Norman Reedus, Summer Glau, John Rhys-Davies, Dean Cain, Peter Davison and Curtis Armstrong.

"We promised our fans that we would rock their world, and I think our first set of announcements today will do just that," said Bryan Brandenburg, Salt Lake Comic Con Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder. "We are absolutely certain that FanX 2016 will be our best event ever. We're have some huge additions and enhancements for this convention that have never been done before. Our fans are really going to love what we have planned for this convention."

Norman Reedus is an American actor and model. He is best known as the abrasive crossbow-wielding, zombie-killing, tough guy with a heart, Daryl Dixon, of AMC's epic TV series The Walking Dead. His role as Daryl has become one of the most popular characters in the show. Reedus was scheduled to attend Salt Lake Comic Con in 2014 but had a filming conflict that prevented him from coming.

"We're really thrilled that Norman Reedus is going to be part of FanX," said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Producer. "Our fans have been begging us to bring 'Daryl Dixon' to Salt Lake, and it feels great to deliver. We know they will be as excited as we are. We are confident that this will be the most entertaining and organized convention we've ever done."

Summer Glau is an American actress best known for her portrayal as River Tam in Joss Whedon's critically-acclaimed television series Firefly and its film sequel Serenity. Glau also played Cameron in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Tess Doerner in The 4400 and Isabel Rochev in Arrow.

John Rhys-Davies is a Welsh actor best known for his portrayal of Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the charismatic Arab excavator Sallah in the Indiana Jones films. He also played Agent Michael Malone in the 1993 series The Untouchables, General Leonid Pushkin in the James Bond film The Living Daylights, and Eventine Elessedil in the upcoming The Shannara Chronicles television series with alum Manu Bennett.

Dean Cain is an American actor and director best known for his role as Superman in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Cain has made two returns to the Superman franchise, with a guest role in Smallville as the immortal Dr. Curtis Knox, and again in a recurring role in Supergirl, as the titular character's foster father, Jeremiah Danvers.

Peter Davison is an English actor, best known for his role as the fifth incarnation of The Doctor in Doctor Who. He held the record as the youngest actor to play The Doctor for nearly 30 years, until Salt Lake Comic Con alum Matt Smith was cast in 2009.

Curtis Armstrong is an American actor known for his portrayal as Booger in the Revenge of the Nerds films, Miles Dalby in Risky Business and Ahmet Ertegün in the film Ray. He is also the co-host of the TBS series King of the Nerds and Metatron in the fan-favorite series Supernatural.

The third annual FanX will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
