Salt Lake Acting Company Presents GO, DOG. GO!, 12/4-27

In the run up to Christmas, the Salt Lake Acting Company will make history with its first play for children, GO, DOG. GO! running December 4 - December 27. Adapted by Allison Gregory and Steven Dietz from the book by P.D. Eastman that has charmed children for nearly 50 years.

This production is directed by Jerry Rapier, with musical director Dave Evanoff, and choreographed by Cynthia Fleming. The cast includes Colleen Baum, Dustin Bolt, Deena Marie Manzanares, Shannon Musgrave, Jay Perry, and Nathan Shaw.

Jerry Rapier is in his tenth season as Producing Director of Plan-B Theatre Company. In 2007, he was ranked 6th on The Salt Lake Tribune's list of Utah's Top 25 Cultural Power Brokers. In 2008, he received Salt Lake City's Mayor's Artist Award in the Performing Arts. In 2009, he was named an Alternative Pioneer by City Weekly.

Tickets are $26 for adults, and $16 for kids and can be purchased by visiting www.saltlakeactingcompany.org or by calling the box office at 801-363-7522.  Tickets can also be purhcased in person by visiting the box office Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or Saturday/Sunday during run of show: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The 40 year history of Salt Lake Acting Company is reflected in the expansive body of work it has produced and in the long-standing support of its most open and adventurous audience. SLAC produces seasons of thoughtful, provocative, regional and world premieres; nurtures, supports and develops a community of professional artists; produces and supports emerging playwrights; and makes a significant contribution to the community and to the American theatre field by commissioning, developing and producing new plays.
