Pioneer Theatre Company presents the third and final installment in the 2016-2017 Play-by-Play season, The Ice Front by Eric Samuelsen.
At the height of World War II, during the German occupation of Norway, the actors of the Norwegian National Theatre find themselves confronted by a moral dilemma -- one that could cost them their lives -- when they are ordered to perform a Nazi propaganda piece.
ERIC SAMUELSEN is the author of over 30 plays which have been performed across Utah and the country. He is a playwright, director, critic and blogger. He is a three-time recipient of the Association for Mormon Letters award for best play, and won the Smith-Petit award for lifetime achievement as a Mormon artist. His blog can be found at mormoniconoclast.com.
JERRY RAPIER, artistic director of Plan-B Theatre Company in Salt Lake City, will direct the reading.
