The fall season will run from Sept. 16 through Oct. 23 with three different plays in the Randall L. Jones Theatre. The season features Shakespeare's "Odyssey"-like drama "The Adventures of Pericles," the Pulitzer Prize-winning play "The Diary of Anne Frank," and the rural comedy "Greater Tuna."
Shakespeare's "The Adventures of Pericles" is a tale of high adventure, in which the title character undertakes a perilous odyssey, searching for thrills, riches, and family. But, dangers and uncertainty face him on every seashore as he sails from country to country, and from intrigue to intrigue. His loves die. His friends deceive him. The gods seem to be against him. But, in the end, he finds the most important treasure of all: himself.
