Ariel is just like any other teenager, she's full of curiosity, wonder for the world around her and totally in love with a handsome guy. There's only a few problems: she's a mermaid, her father is King Triton, who forbids her to go to the surface of the ocean, and she's in love with a human. CenterPoint Legacy Theatre is excited to present this fun-filled, musical fairy tale - Disney's The Little Mermaid!
When King Triton learns that not only has Ariel been above water but that the love of her life has two legs instead of fins, he will not stand for such blatant disobedience. This leaves Ariel no choice but to seek the help of the banished sea witch, Ursula. The deal they strike is simple, Ariel will get legs and Ursula will take her voice, and she has three days to get the man of her dreams to kiss her; what could possibly go wrong?
Come with us under the sea as we trade feet for flippers and play in the magical kingdom where mermaids and fish sing, dance, and throw an underwater celebration like you've never seen.
Directed by Danny Inkley, Musically Directed by Derek Myler, Choreographed by Kelley Richardson and brought to life by two dazzling casts, Disney's The Little Mermaid is family fun filled with music, laughter, and even love.
