The Gina Bachauer Foundation and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center present a free, educational piano concert for afterschool groups and others who would like to attend. The concert is Tuesday, April 27, 4–5 p.m. at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (1355 West 3100 South, WVC, UT 84116.)

Fourteen year old pianist George Li was hailed as a "piano virtuoso" with "a talent and technique somewhat larger than this solar system" by the Worcester (MA) Telegram and Gazette. Li began studying piano at age 4 and began performing publicly at age 9. He has performed at significant sites across the nation including Boston's Steinway Hall, New York's Carnegie Hall and has appeared in several radio and television broadcasts. He has also appeared as a soloist with orchestras throughout the US and across the globe, including China, Venezuela, and Sweden.
Several hundred afterschool program students will participate through collaboration with the Community Education Partnership of West Valley City, The Gina Bachauer Foundation, and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. Participating afterschool programs are supported by a Youth Connections grant from the Utah Department of Workforce Services Office of Work and Family Life and a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant from the Utah Office of Education.
