Desert Star Kids, a children's theater program offered by Desert Star Playhouse is now enrolling students in classes and workshops for April and May. Students can learn comedy acting, glee-style singing, tap dance, and more.  Enrollment ends April 6.

The classes being offered this Spring are:

Character, Comedy, and Acting.  Students will comfortably unleash their inner performer while learning techniques for building comical characters. The students will participate in a funny final performance for family and friends.

Glee Vocal Class. Students will learn and practice all facets of vocal technique, while they combine voices to explore harmony and group dynamics. Using a wide range of music from various genres, students will apply their knowledge to a fun final concert.

Tap Dance For Musical Theatre.  Students will learn, study and practice one of Musical Theatre's most endearing forms of dance: Tap! With an emphasis on rhythm and timing, dancers of all levels will have tons of fun while they simultaneously improve their coordination and get a workout.

To register, visit the box office at Desert Star Playhouse, 4861 S. State Street, Murray, or download a registration form at www.desertstar.biz/class.htm. Completed registration forms must be delivered to the box office no later than Friday, April 6 to reserve a spot.  All are welcome; no performing experience necessary!
