Creekside Theatre Fest Announces Lineup ImageFor the first time ever, three shows are coming to the beautiful venue at the Creekside this June!

The first is William Shakespeare's Romantic Comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. The festival welcomes Director Kris Jennings who will be heading up this timeless classic.

Gabe Spencer, director of The Tempest (2017) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2016) will be returning to direct The Giver, adapted by Eric Coble from Lois Lowry's book.

Brooke Grant (Oz 2017) will direct a play geared specifically for families and children of all ages, David Mamet's The Frog Prince. This last show will play at 6:00 in the evening, perfect for families before bed!

Auditions for the upcoming season will be held at the Cedar Hills Clubhouse (10640 N Clubhouse Drive Cedar Hills, UT 84062) on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24th and 25th from 6:00-9:30. Auditions are on a first come first serve basis. All positions will be paid a performance stipend.

For auditions, please prepare (if interested in being cast in Much Ado About Nothing) a Shakespearean monologue about 60 seconds in length (if interested in being cast in The Giver) a Contemporary monologue about 60 seconds in length and (if interested in being cast in Frog Prince) a Contemporary Comedic monologue about 60 seconds in length.

Rehearsals will be from April 30-June 16 with the festival running June 18-30 in rep. Actors are able to audition for and be cast in all 3 shows. The paid stipend is per role, not for the entire festival. We encourage actors to audition for all 3 shows.
