Mean Girls JR. is a stage adaptation of the popular 2004 teen comedy film "Mean Girls," which was written by Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters. The musical follows the story of Cady Heron, a teenage girl who moves to the United States from Africa and enrolls at a new high school. She quickly gets caught up in the social hierarchy and "clique" dynamics of the school, particularly the popular clique led by Regina George. The show explores themes of friendship, social status, bullying, and the struggles of navigating the social complexities of high school. Like the original film, Mean Girls JR. satirizes and comments on teenage culture and the pressures that young people face.
