Elena Rayo - Joni Mitchell showcase at The Gomez art center

Elena Rayo is a lifelong musician, with her roots in Wisconsin and over two decades living in Nevada City, California. She studied classical violin from the age of five, played in countless bands through college, and taught herself to play guitar before putting out 5 studio albums and touring the US for several years.  More information here

This showcase of mostly Joni Mitchell's music with one or two of Elena's originals inspired by Joni will combine Elena's solo playing and singing of Joni's earlier material with the guitars in the original keys and tunings with later material that featured her band of extraordinary jazz musicians
