Placer Repertory Theater's Collaboration LAB - February 25, 2021FREE EVENT: Email BoxOffice@placerrep.org for the Free Zoom link.Placer Repertory Theater is pleased to announce key guests for our Collaboration LAB line-up of Thursday, February 25 at 7 p.m., featuring the theme, Things we have in common. The evening will start with a video and discussion about Lynn Nottage, the New York two-time Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama, and LIVE special guest, Manuel Crosby, a Lake Tahoe area filmmaker whose recent project, First Date, was just selected for the Sundance Film Festival. Collaboration LAB is a FREE monthly open stage / open mic for the arts, culture and humanities via Zoom, on the last Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. (Pacific), January through October 2021. Participants register in advance via email (boxoffice@placerrep.org) for a presentation slot, and may try out new material, share a new work, hone their performance or presentation skills, seek collaborators, market themselves or their group, and may choose to receive feedback from attendees. From actors, singer/songwriters, and filmmakers, to visual artists, stand-up comedians, writers, crafters, non-profit organizations, city/county/state agencies and historical researchers, Placer County creatives and cultural advocates come together to incubate new works and ideas in an open and supportive atmosphere.
