Single-show tickets go on sale today, Sept. 19 for three hit musicals in the 2014-15 Broadway Sacramento season: Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, the high-energy musical based on the beloved 1987 movie; a new production of the ever-popular Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice hit Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, featuring two stars from American Idol and Broadway fame; and the return of the audience favorite RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles, in a newly expanded version of the show.
The 2014-15 Broadway Sacramento season also features the return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning mega-hit musical Jersey Boys, the story of
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons; the magic of the brand new Tony-winning production of the classic tale Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella; and eight-time Tony Award-winner Once, an unforgettable and unique musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film.
Broadway Sacramento, sponsored by Wells Fargo and presented by the nonprofit
California Musical Theatre, is the largest performing arts event in the Capital Region. All performances are at the Community Center Theater, 1301 L Street, in downtown Sacramento.
Season tickets are on sale now, and are available only at the Wells Fargo Pavilion Box Office, 1419 H Street, Sacramento, or by calling (916) 557-1999. Season subscribers save up to $123 off the price of a pair of single-show tickets, and they get the best seats available. Six-show subscriptions range from $130.25 to $393.55, depending on performance day/time and seating location. Subscribers will be able to opt out of RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, making a five-show subscription, which ranges from $111.10 to $330.20, depending on performance day/time and seating location.
