The Hit Men return to Stage One with "Time Travel Tour," an all new show-including performances of Number 1 hits not included in their original show, plus a new multimedia presentation. As always with The Hit Men, consummate performers that they are, they share skin-tight musical performances and some of the great back stories from their days with the best loved names in pop.
The Hit Men's "Time Travel Tour" comes to Folsom Saturday November 11, 2017 for two shows at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $23-$48; Premium $58, with 50% Discount for Students with ID. Career highlights for The Hit Men are too many to list here. Keyboardist and group founder Lee Shapiro joined Frankie Valli as one of the legendary Four Seasons at the age of 19. Lead guitarist/vocalist Jimmy Ryan has performed, arranged and composed with Carly Simon for over 21 years. Bassist/ vocalist Jeff Ganz toured and recorded with such legends as Johnny Winter, Roy Buchanan, John Lee Hooker, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, Tito Puente, Chuck Berry, Dr. John, Larry Coryell and so many more. Singer/guitarist Russ Velazquez has worked with Sting, Carole King, the Ramones, LL Cool J, Korn, Patty Smyth, Jimmy Webb, Phoebe Snow and many others. Of drummer and vocalist Steve Murphy, Jack Bruce of Cream said "When Steve is on, there is nobody better."
The Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College brings the community together to share in cultural experiences featuring the work of artists from throughout the region and around the world. Built and operated by the Los Rios Community College District, the $50 million, state-of-the-art regional performing arts center boasts three intimate venues with outstanding acoustics, an art gallery, a recording studio, elegant teaching spaces, plenty of safe parking and all the other amenities of a world-class performing arts venue.
