Richard III By William Shakespeare Directed By Justin Chapman, Auditions will be held Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 6 p.m. at big idea theatre 1616 Delp Paso Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95815

Please bring a Headshot, Resume and Classical Monologue (if available, if not do not worry about it) There will be cold readings from the script. Call Backs TBD All roles are still available.

Looking for men and women ages 18+

Women will be considered for some of the traditionally male roles

Rehearsals: March 1 - April 8

Performance Dates: April 9 - May 8

Summary: Shakespeare's spell-binding play tells the tale of Richard, Duke of Gloucester, one of theatre's most memorable villains, as he gleefully murders his way to the top.

Richard is a man with an eye to the crown and a heart of flint who is bent on seizing power, no matter the cost.
