Discover what it takes to pull off Broadway's biggest show-biz scam at the Music Circus premiere of The Producers, July 12-17. With music and lyrics by king of comedy Mel Brooks (Young Frankenstein) and a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan (Annie, Hairspray), The Producers will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.

The show garnered an unprecedented 12 Tony Awards, breaking the record previously held by Hello Dolly! for 37 years. The Producers then went on to be adapted to a movie musical, starring most of the original Broadway cast, including Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane and Gary Beach. The Music Circus production will star Gary Beach reprising his Tony Award-winning role as director Roger De Bris. Bob Amaral stars as down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and Matt Loehr as anxious accountant Leo Bloom. The production will also feature Bill Nolte as German playwright Franz Liebkind, Michael Paternostro as Roger De Bris' assistant Carmen Ghia, and Sarah Cornell as "secretary-slash-receptionist" Ulla.

Based on Mel Brooks' 1968 feature film by the same name, The Producers is set in New York with the latest Broadway musical produced by Max Bialystock closing as a box office failure. After finding an accounting error in the musical flop that benefits Max, he and his accountant Leo Bloom hatch a plan to get rich by producing the worst Broadway show ever. They set off to find the worst musical ever written, hire the worst director and actors, open the destined-to-flop musical, and then run off with the investors' money. The hilarious musical follows the two men as they attempt to carry out their ultimate show-biz scam.
