A wickedly funny, adult-themed spoof of the 'Fifty Shades' trilogy of erotic romance novels by E. L. James is coming to the Gallo Center for the Arts for one night only. "SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody" takes the stage at 8 pm tonight, October 11.

Tickets for the show range in price from $19 to $59, and may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto. Groups of 15 people are more receive a 15% discount on ticket prices. Group sales information is available by calling (209) 338-5062.

BroadwayWorld.com describes the show as "raucously hilarious...a perfect girl's night out." The main characters of the books are cleverly re-imagined and perform musical numbers along with send-ups of the novels' steamy scenes.

The cast includes David Raposo as "Hugh Hanson" (the "Christian Grey"-like character); Danielle Trzcinski as "Tasha Woode" (the "Anastasia Steele"-like character); and Amanda Barker as "E.B. Janet," the author. Following the show, audience members can pose for photos with Raposo.

Erika Leonard, better known by the pen name E. L. James, is the British author of the trilogy, "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker," and "Fifty Shades Freed." "SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody" is not associated with, nor authorized by, her or Vintage Press.
