Filled to the brim with Gershwin songs,
Nice Work If You Can Get It, with
Matt Loehr in the role of Jimmy Winter, takes us back to Prohibition Era New York City. Loehr, recently on Broadway as Elder McKinley in
The Book of Mormon, was an original Broadway cast member of
The Producers,
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,
Mary Poppins, and more. Joining the cast as Billie Bendix is Broadway's
Dames at Sea original cast member
Kristie Kerwin, who performed in the First National Tour of
South Pacific and on Broadway in Monty Python's
Spamalot.
HollyAnn Butler, playing Jeanie Muldoon, recently finished performing on Broadway in
On the Townbefore heading to Chicago to take part in the pre-Broadway production of
Gotta Dance. In addition to his extensive film and TV work, including a recurring role in Netflix's upcoming "Luke Cage" and five seasons with HBO's "The Wire,"
Michael Kostroff, portraying Cookie McGee, has toured as Max Bialystock in
The Producers and as Thénardier in
LES MISERABLES.
Mark
Bradley Miller, seen in the Music Circus production of
Brigadoon, has toured nationally with
South Pacific and throughout Europe with
Beauty and the Beast; he returns this summer in the role of Duke Mahoney.
Rich Hebert, returning to Music Circus as Chief Berry after appearing in last summer's
West Side Story, also took part in Sting's musical
The Last Shipin Chicago and New York and toured as Billy's dad in the national tour of
Billy Elliot. Most recently seen on Broadway in
Bullets Over Broadway,
Paige Faure, who starred as Cinderella in
Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella both on Broadway and for the national tour, will play
Eileen Evergreen.
Madeleine Doherty, whose Broadway credits include the recent revival of
Gigi,
Sister Act,
LES MISERABLES, and the original cast of
The Producers, will appear as Duchess Estonia Dulworth.
Jamie Jones, well known to Sacramento theatre audiences as a member of the B Street Theatre
Acting Company, having recently appeared in B Street's production of
Mud Blue Sky and Capitol Stage's production of
The Totalitarians, will play Millicent Winter. In addition to appearing as Herr Schultz in
Cabaret this summer, Music Circus favorite
Ron Wisniski will also join this cast as Senator Max Evergreen; his wide-ranging work with Music Circus includes
The Little Mermaid,
LES MISERABLES,
Oliver!, and
Spamalot, and he has extensive touring, Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theatre productions to his name.

Ward Billeisen, at Music Circus in the 2015 production of
Hair, has performed on Broadway in
Anything Goes,
Curtains, and
Fiddler on the Roof. Making her Music Circus debut this season, Lindsey Bracco has appeared in numerous productions with Pittsburg CLO, including
The Wedding Singer,
Man of La Mancha, and
Gypsy.
Brittany Rose Hammond, who appeared in
Hair last season, has performed in
TheWill Rogers Follies and
Singin' in the Rain, in addition to touring with the national revival of
Hair.
Karen Hyland has appeared at Music Circus in numerous productions, including
Mary Poppins,
South Pacific and
Brigadoon, as well as on Broadway in
Scandalous and
Ghost.Bonnie Kelly makes her Music Circus debut after touring nationally with
A Chorus Line and Disney's
Beauty and the Beast. Also making her debut this season is
Alexa De Barr, who has toured with
Singin' in the Rain,
Anything Goes, and
West Side Story.
Eric
Anthony Johnson has toured with
Evita,
Elf the Musical,
Miss Saigon, and
West Side Story, and served as the Dance Captain of
Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella for its two-year Broadway run.
Matthew J. Kilgore has performed on Broadway in
Irving Berlin's White Christmas, toured with numerous shows including
Chicago,
Fiddler on the Roof, and
Evita, and appeared in multiple Music Circus productions. Also joining the ensemble is
Zach Williams, making his Music Circus debut after touring with
Billy Elliot,
The Will Rogers Follies, and
Street Scene. After performing with the National Tour of Monty Python's
Spamalot and in numerous regional theatre productions,
Jessica Wockenfuss appears at Music Circus for the first time this season.
Rashaan James Ii has toured with shows including
Dirty Dancing,
South Pacific,
West Side Story and
42nd Street, in addition to appearing in a number of regional productions.Brian
Steven Shaw, back for his fourth Music Circus season, has extensive regional theatre experience including
The Little Mermaid,
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,
Mary Poppinsand
Cats.
