The Transcendence Theatre Company will present the Broadway bound musical "Witness Uganda" in concert as the third offering in the Transcendence Artist Series. The concert will take place on August 19th at the Atwood Ranch in Sonoma Valley and will feature a special post-show discussion with the artists. Take a first look at Griffin and Matt in rehearsal below!

Following a sold out run at the American Repertory Theater that was directed by Tony Award Winner, Diane Paulus, the creators will share an intimate one night concert of this compelling new show. "Witness Uganda" is the winner of the "2014 Richard Rogers Award for Musical Theater" and is destined to inspire audiences worldwide. Told through personal stories of triumph and tragedy "Witness Uganda's" young creators Griffin Matthews and Matt Gould ask... is changing the world even possible?

This not-to-be-missed concert takes place at the Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for a pre-show picnic and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The Atwood Ranch is located at 12099 Sonoma Highway, Glen Ellen, CA 95442. The last concert in the Transcendence Artist Series will be "Oh What a Beautiful Mashup!" starring Leah Sprecher and Stephan Stubbins on August 28th at the Paradise Ridge Winery.

Transcendence Theatre was named Broadway World San Francisco's 2013 "Theatre of the Year." Over the last two seasons the company has given over $94,000 to Jack London State Historic Park, while winning the Broadway World San Francisco award for Best Special Theater Event in both of its first two seasons.

Tickets are selling well so be sure to purchase yours early. General Admission tickets to the Atwood concert are $35 and VIP are $60. Prices range from $42 to $125 for the "Broadway Under the Stars "concerts in Jack London State Park and seats are still available for the August and September shows.
