GREASE, by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey will be holding auditions on Friday, August 28 from 5 - 9pm with callbacks scheduled for Saturday, August 29 at 11am. Auditions will be held at 3415 Swetzer Road Loomis, CA 95650

Auditioners should prepare and bring 16 bars from a Broadway show (not Grease). An accompanist will be provided.

Grease is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'", "Born to Hand Jive", "Sandra D" recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. Grease is among the world's most popular musicals.

Show rehearses from September 1 - November 14 Tuesday/Friday 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday 10:00am - 1:30pm.  Show plays November 18 - November 22

Synopsis:
Happy Valley High is the authentic music from the fifties-forever popular classics such as "Lollipop," "Dungaree Doll" and "Cindy, Oh, Cindy"- And no other show brings you so much fun. When Al Barbella gives up his career as a sailor, he becomes a teacher at Happy Valley High. He also coaches the football team, which traditionally loses to their "arch rivals" from Hillside High. When a transfer student joins the team, the football fortunes at Happy Valley immediately improve, leading to the exciting game in which the two rivals meet and the gala Homecoming Dance that follows. This show is set in the high school gym and at Sanderson's Soda Shop where everybody goes for sodas and hamburgers, music and fun. Turn back the clock and turn up the volume, because Happy Valley High is a musical treat you won't want to miss!

Show rehearses from September 4 - November 13. Friday 3:30 - 5:00 and Saturdays as needed.  Show plays November 13 & 14 7:00pm
