Broadway/TV star Linda Purl and the award winning Lee Lessack return to Harris Center in a cabaret show that spans the Atlantic, bridging romance from two of the world's most cosmopolitan cities- New York and Paris.

Built on "Chanteur," Mr. Lessack's tribute to the Great French Songbook and Ms. Purl's "Midnight Caravan" salute to New York's great female singing stars of the '40s and '50s, the pair who dazzled Folsom last season strike an international chord.

Linda Purl & Lee Lessack: From Manhattan To Paris will take place Friday, February 21, 2014; 7 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2014; 2 & 7 pm, and Sunday, February 23, 2014; 2 pm. Tickets are priced at $39-$45. Tickets are available online at www.harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.

In From Manhattan to Paris, Purl salutes the Great Ladies of the glamorous Nightclub Era - from Ella Fitzgerald to Judy Garland to Rosemary Clooney as they reign over the swanky, sexy supper clubs of the era. From sultry ballads to hot Latin jazz arrangements of Broadway tunes, the show features classic standards like "My Romance," "Shall We Dance," as well as "Caravan," and conjures an effervescent nighttime world where the surroundings are posh the drinks keep flowing, and nobody goes to bed before three!

An award-winning recording artist, Lessack celebrates the Great French Songbook, from an American perspective. This concert will transport you from Mercer to Brel, from the Broadway stage to the streets of Paris, from Sinatra to Aznavour, from Leonard Cohen to Michel Legrand, from the Great White Way to the Champs-Élysées!

The multi-talented Linda Purl has had a varied and successful career. She will next be seen in a recurring role on CBS in Reckless opposite Gregory Hines. She has had recurring roles on HBO's True Blood as Barbara Pelt, The Office as Helene Beasley and the Showtime series Homeland, as Elizabeth Gaines. She has starred in over 40 made-for-TV movies, and is especially known for her series roles as Charlene Matlock on Matlock and Ashley Pfister, Fonzie's fiancée, on Happy Days.

She has a multitude of film, Broadway and regional theatre credits and currently tours with her solo concert Come Rain or Come Shine, with Kevin Spirtas in Rhapsody for Two, with Lee Lessack in tributes to both Berlin and Mercer, as well as with Gregory Harrison in A Night to Remember. Her recordings include the solo albums Midnight Caravan, Alone Together and Out of this World.

Lee Lessack's graceful lyric baritone vocals and sophisticated yet endearing persona have made him a shining star of the international cabaret scene. Billboard Magazine calls his singing, "Cabaret romanticism of a high order." Touring extensively in the United States and Europe to sold-out performances and releasing three albums, Lessack has proven himself both as performer and recording artist.

His fourth and most ambitious recording to date is called In Good Company. Intimate and impeccably produced, the album beams with outstanding performances featuring duets with such music notables as Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Stephen Schwartz.
