Imagination Theater, El Dorado County's homegrown theater on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, has received thirteen Elly Award nominations for two of its productions for 2010-2011. The multi-media event, Bram Stoker's Dracula, received seven nominations including overall production in the drama category. Individuals receiving nominations include Carol Cramer and Terri Thomas (Costumes), Dave Patrick (Lighting), Peter Wolfe (Set Design), David Campfield (Supporting Actor), Jessicah Nuefeld (Supporting Actress), and Sarah Klaren (Lead Actress).
Imagination Theater, a nonprofit organization, is now in the eleventh season of presenting live theater in El Dorado County. The next two productions are the entertaining comedy, Father of the Bride, playing from September 9-25 and the holiday favorite, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, playing December 2-23.
