Imagination Theater Announces Holiday Performance of SHREK THE MUSICAL

Imagination Theater is pleased to announce this year's 2017 Holiday Performance, Shrek the Musical, Directed by Peter Wolfe, Assistant Directed by Maggie Bush.

Based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, SHREK: THE MUSICAL brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to dazzling new life on the stage. This wonderfully zany musical is fun for the whole family. Full of all-new songs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery, SHREK: THE MUSICAL is part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun!

The holiday performance runs November 24 through December 23, 2017. Tickets can be ordered online through the theater website, www.imaginationtheater.net or by calling the Box office at 530-642-0404

Imagination Theater, located on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, brings quality, live, local community theater to Placerville and El Dorado County.

Luckily for us, Capital Stage has brought back one of my favorite Austen-inspired works, Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley. It is the third in a trilogy of plays by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon that focus on the Bennet sisters in the years following Pride and Prejudice.
