El Dorado Musical Theatre is searching for an Executive Producer - El Dorado Musical Theatre (EDMT) is an award-winning regional youth theater group located in El Dorado Hills, California. The group produces a series of major musical Theater Productions throughout the year as well as running the Performing Arts Institute where young people can learn the arts of singing, acting, and dancing.
EDMT is a 501c3 non-profit organization and has been in existence since 2001.

Overview:
The Executive Producer reports to the board of directors and works extensively with the Artistic Director to assure that productions are a success.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the day-to-day operations and being the face of the company in the community
- The successful execution of the direction set by the Board of Directors
- Overseeing and assuring the financial viability of the company
- Upholding the company's focusing goal of "Building confidence for life through excellence in theater performance." and sustaining EDMT's 5 Core Guiding Principles.

The Executive Producer is a full-time position with the company. Compensation includes a base salary along with performance incentives.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a smart, motivated, action-oriented person who has:
· Experience in creating and performing to budgets
· A passion for youth, theater, and the arts
· Arts experience
· Grant writing experience
· A business background and orientation
· An ability to interface with and manage people well
· Excellent computer skills
· Non-profit organization experience
· An ability to work well with volunteers
· A track record of working well with young people
· Proper use of discretion in all aspects of the job
· Excellent negotiating skills
· Positive marketing skills
· An understanding of the long-term vision of the group and can inspire others to achieve that vision
