LOOK BACK IN ANGER by John Osborne is being directed by E.M Hodge and will be presented by EMH Productions at The Wm. J Geery Theatre at 2130 L St. from tonight, January 21st, through Monday, February 8th, 2016.

An iconic classic, LOOK BACK IN ANGER by John Osborne was first performed in London 1956, and was immediately both reviled and hailed for it's vitriolic main character, Jimmy Porter, which spawned the term "angry young men" to describe Osborne and those of his generation. Something we are seeing right now in American culture. A love triangle evolves with the intelligent, educated but disaffected young Jimmy Porter, his upper middle-class impassive wife Alison, and her haughty best friend, Helena Charles while, Cliff, an amiable Welsh lodger, attempts to keep the peace.

The production features an all star cast with Dan Fagan as Jimmy Porter, Elyse Sharp as Alison, Paj Crank as Cliff, Isabel Siragusa as Helena, and Loren Taylor as the Colonel. Directed by E.M. Hodge and featuring Jazz Musician Clifford Childers.

As always, EMH will be supporting a local charity during it's performances, this time with a raffle to raise funds for the arts in school and the betterment of education in our local community.

LOOK BACK IN ANGER will perform at 7:30pm on Thursday January 21st, Friday January 22nd and Saturday January 23rd; 7:30pm Friday January 29th, Saturday January 30th and 2pm Sunday January 31st ; 7:30pm Thursday February 4th, Friday February 5th, Saturday February 6th and 7:30pm Monday February 8th at The Wm. J. Geery Theatre (2130 L St, Midtown Sacramento). Tickets can be reserved for $20 at www.emhpros.weebly.com, by calling 916-214-6255 or bought at the door (cash only). Reservations strongly advised.
