Moving Mountains, a light comedy reminding us all that age doesn't diminish our quest for life and love by Lawrence Roman. It will be presented by EMH Productions at The Geery Theatre, 2130 L St. from Friday April 26th through Sunday May 19th, 2013.
Roman's play is the delightfully funny story of Charlie Fuller (Lonon Smith) who has retired to a Senior Community only to become the neighborhood Casanova of sorts. His adventures are turned upside down by his meddling daughter Elaine (Elise Hodge) but more specifically by the new neighbor, Polly (Scarlet O'Connor). His condo soon becomes the central location for miscommunication, romance, an "inappropriate" affair and much, much more.
This play is a fun romp for most ages. The 50 and over will truly appreciate it the most. The cast includes Lonon Smith, Scarlet O'Connor, Sean Williams, Elise Hodge, Adrianna Marmo and Deborah Shaloub.
Moving Mountains will perform at 8pm on Friday April 26th, Saturday April 27th; 2pm and 7pm on Sunday April 28th; 8pm on Saturday May 4th; 7pm on Sunday May 5th; 8pm Saturday May 11th; 2pm and 7pm on Sunday May 12th; 8pm Friday and Saturday May 17th and 18th; 2pm and 7pm Sunday May 19th, 2013 at The Geery Theatre (2130 L St., Midtown Sacramento).
