Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some!)
Nov 30, 2011 - Jan 1, 2012

Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some!) is a fast, fond, and furious look at the holiday traditions we all remember (and a few we'd like to forget)! Fed up with performing Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told -- plus Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture, and every carol ever sung. Cap Stage has established a new holiday tradition with this irreverent madcap romp through the holiday season.

This year's production will be given a make-over with its move to Capital Stage's new, larger stage on J Street. Changes include a new set and modern updates to the script from the original playwrights. Returning from last year's cast is Gary S. Martinez, Peter Mohrmann and Eric Wheeler. Capital Stage Producing Director JoNathan Williams directs.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Inspired by the classic American film of the same title, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. The actors arrive for a special live radio performance of It's a Wonderful Life. You'll hear all your favorites including George Bailey, Mary, Clarence Oddbody, Mr Potter, Uncle Billy, even Zuzu and all the other wonderful characters that make up Bedford Falls. Capital Stage Artistic Associate Janis Stevens directs in this holiday treat for the entire family.
