This is a World Premiere
Life in the city can be overwhelming. Lonny lives with his mom, struggles with employment and gets lost playing videos games to pass the time. But when his mom invites over the girl next door, everything changes. Will Lonny be able to overcome his anxiety to show Wynter who he really is? Or will they continue to be two social misfits who share a sidewalk? Oddities are explored, mysteries are solved and personalities run amok in this offbeat romantic comedy for the holidays. B3 SERIES

The Walworth Farce by Edna Walsh

Every family has a place they call home. Enda Walsh's The Walworth Farce is set in the interior of a cramped, shabby flat on the Walworth Road in South London, the home of Dinny, and his two sons. There, they routinely play out the story of Dinny's last day in Ireland, complete with wigs, costumes and cross-dressing.
When Sean accidently entices the check-out girl back to the flat, the story takes a sharp turn. Hayley is forced to portray herself in a new play and finally is overpowered when they need to tie up loose ends and bring their story to its inevitable conclusion.
Walsh's script is a whirlwind tour through Ireland's past. Amid the mayhem, there are poignant moments when we start to see the cracks of a family at a crossroad.

The Walworth Farce is the second show of B Street's 2011-12 B3 Series, entering its fifth year.

FAMILY SERIES

The Snow Queen adapted by David Pierini; based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen.

Music by Noah Agruss

The Snow Queen wants to bring coldness to the world. She creates a magic mirror that distorts people to show only the ugly, mean spirited sides of their nature. When some slivers of the mirror make their way into Kay's eyes and heart, he leaves home for the Snow Queen's palace. Gerda, his sister, sets off to rescue him and along the way encounters a Princess, a talking crow, a group of robbers and a mysterious woman from the north. When Gerda finally reaches the Snow Palace, it is a battle of good versus evil as she and the Snow Queen square off for the soul of Kay. Will the cold win out or will Gerda learn that the best defense against the frigid winter is the warmth of love in her heart?

The Snow Queen is the first show of B Street's 2011-12 Family Series.

David Pierini is a member of the B Street Acting Company and was last seen onstage in God of Carnage, and ‘B on K': B Street's Sketch Comedy Night. This will be David's forth original adaptation for the Family Series; previous adaptations include Pinocchio, The Princess and the Pauper and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
