The B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Resident Professional, New Works Theatre, today announced its fall play selections for the Mainstage and B-3 Series.

MAINSTAGE:
Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza examines conflict in marriage and between married couples brought upon by an after school altercation between their adolescent sons. Hidden beneath designer labels and powerful titles, sophisticated families breed hilarious misconduct as they transgress into primal warfare.

The parents arrange a cordial meeting to discuss the unfortunate event where they find their own patience is tested, and civil constraints are quickly abandoned. The attempted resolution escalates into grotesque behavior and utter mayhem. Characters are transformed, relationships are questioned, and dirty laundry is aired in this wickedly funny picture of urban life.
