Kenny Rogers’ THE TOY SHOPPE, starring Alan Thicke, will be presented at West Point just in time for Christmas. Co-written by Kenny Rogers and Kelly Junkerman, the Broadway musical is a story of old-fashioned values that provides entertainment for the entire family. The Eisenhower Hall stage will be magically transformed into Longley’s Toy Shoppe that has been filled with magic, wonders and miracles for nearly 100 years. It’s a place where toys come to life, and children gather to hear owner Hank Longley tell stories.
Join Hero the Dog, Cheeseball the Mouse, Bruno the Bear, and Alan Thicke as Hank Longley, in this story of love, faith and appreciation for the value of every individual. Alan Thicke is a Canadian actor, songwriter, and talk show host; best known for his role as Jason Seaver, the father on the ABC television series, “Growing Pains.”
