Seldom Scene has been one of the best loved, most influential bands in bluegrass for more than 45 years. Although banjo player Ben Eldridge, the last remaining original member of the band, has recently retired, the soaring vocals, superb instrumental prowess, outside-the-box material, and sheer joy that have characterized the band from the start are unchanged. As always, they are one of the most exciting bands in bluegrass, and it’s an honor to have them close out this memorable bluegrass season.
