Chamber Music America and Kaatsbaan Cultural Park present the Ivalas Quartet in their program First Light on March 22, 2025. This performance features works by Osvaldo Golijov, Eleanor Alberga, and Ludwig van Beethoven, exploring themes of the cosmos and existence beyond our world. The concert includes Beethoven's timeless Opus 130, which was included in the 1977 Voyager craft. The Ivalas Quartet consists of Reuben Kebede, Tiani Butts, Marcus Stevenson, and Pedro Sánchez, each bringing a rich background in performance and education to this unique musical journey.
