The Emelin Theatre is thrilled to present Parsons Dance Company on Saturday November 3, 2012. Parsons Dance is an internationally renowned contemporary dance company under the artistic direction of dancer/choreographer David Parsons.

Over the past three seasons, the Emelin's focus has been to bring the best in dance to Westchester county with performances by the Paul Taylor Dance Company, Savion Glover, Ailey II, and now Parsons Dance.”
Parsons Dance is committed to building new audiences for contemporary dance by creating American works of extraordinary artistry that are both engaging and uplifting to audiences throughout the world. Parsons Dance tours nationally and internationally, including an annual season in its home community of New York City. Parsons Dance includes ten full-time dancers and maintains a repertory of more than 80 works choreographed by David Parsons.
Since 1985, Parsons Dance has toured an average of 32 weeks per year, to a total of more than 250 cities, 35 countries, six continents and millions of audience members. Many more have seen Parsons Dance on PBS, Bravo, A&E Network and the Discovery Channel.
The Emelin Theatre, located in Mamaroneck, New York, and founded in 1972, is the oldest continuously operating performing arts theater in Westchester County. Its mission is to bring the best in live performing arts to Westchester and other nearby communities and to promote a cultural life that entertains, educates, and invigorates. The Emelin, well-known for its high-quality and affordable programs, is one of the few performing arts venues in this region which offers a broad mix of entertainment appealing to all ages and tastes, produces its own theater performances, and attracts diverse audiences throughout Westchester County and beyond. Due to its strategic location in central Westchester, the Emelin also attracts theatergoers from New York City, New Jersey, and lower Connecticut.
