Give yourself a treat this St. Patrick's Day weekend when Riverspace welcomes a troupe of fifteen Irishman and Irishwoman straight from Ireland to perform Tommy Marren's The Banshee of Crokey Hill with performances on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m.

The play centers on the return home after 13 years away by Mickey McMahon to visit his parents. The purpose of his visit is to tell them he is about to get married, but sadly a black secret kept from him by his parents unfolds. The arrival of the local gossip Molly Andy unearths a dark story associated with the house built on a fairy fort where the McMahon's live and a legend that a Banshee has put a spell on the house.

The play is steeped in hilarious one-liners and a lively "hooley" takes place that includes a spell-binding exhibition of brush-dancing..

Come out to see this fabulous show and support the performers who came all the way from Ireland to make New York a bit greener this St. Patrick's Day weekend!
