Broadway & Hollywood Legend, Renée Taylor returns to the White Plains Performing Arts Center with her new show "My Life On A Diet" for two performances only.
Broadway & Hollywood legend, Renée Taylor's new show takes the audience on a trip through her 60+ year career from movies, The Tonight Show, Broadway, her iconic role as "Sylvia", Fran Drescher's over-bearing, food loving mother on the hit TV series, The Nanny and "Ted Mosby"'s neighbor, "Mrs. Matsen", on How I Met Your Mother. Throughout this trip, her perseverance & dieting (as well as her 47 year marriage to actor/director Joe Bologna), have been the true constants in her life. The journey includes dieting advice she received from Hollywood stars including Joan Crawford and Marilyn Monroe, as well as stories of many other stars she knew and with whom she worked. This is a hilarious and nostalgic tour de force show with video & slides that is not to be missed! Written by Renee Taylor & Joe Bologna. "My Life On a Diet" performs at the White Plains Performing Arts Center November 21 at 8pm and November 22 at 2pm. Tickets are $25 to $50. All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.
