White Plains Performing Arts Center presents the New York Regional Premiere of Heathers the Musical, playing for two weekends only at the White Plains Performing Arts Center, October 14-16 and October 21-23. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Heathers the Musical is a hilarious AND heartfelt new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time - the 1989 classic film Heathers written by Daniel Waters which starred Winona Ryder, Christian Slater and Shannen Doherty. With its moving love story, laugh-out-loud comedy and unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school.

This darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized ass... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Heathers the Musical has a book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness) & Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde the Musical).

The creative team features Direction by Jeremy Quinn, Music Direction by Stephen Ferri, Choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare, along with Scenic Design by Gabriel Firestone, Lighting Design by Matt Guminski, Costume Design by Molly Seidel and Sound Design by Jonathan Hatton and Scott Tunkel.

Heathers the Musical will play the White Plains Performing Arts Center Friday and Saturday October 14-15 and October 21-22 at 8:00 pm and Sunday October 16 and October 23 at 2:00 pm.
