The Philipstown Depot Theatre is pleased to present Phil Geoffrey Bond's play, Small Town Confessions, a comedic look at the colorful characters of a provincial whistle-stop who perpetuate it's gossip and preserve it's legends, for two performances only:
Friday, March 4 @ 8:00pmSaturday, March 5 @ 8:00pm.

The Philipstown Depot Theatre is located at 10 Garrison Landing in Garrison, NY, directly on the banks of the Hudson River. Tickets, $25, may be obtained by visiting http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2469100 or by calling 1.800.838.3006.

Small Town Confessions is a series of monologues spoken by the eccentric residents of Anitola, Louisiana. Rumors of visits from martians, a special stopover from Diana Ross, an obsession with the musical Wicked, a has-been Walt Disney World employee, a chat with the bride of Satan and the creative use of spray glitter are all tales told in this homespun account of small town living. The proceedings are hosted by Jobeth Maybelline, manicurist to the town and keeper of community secrets, deftly played by Tony nominee Sally Mayes (Welcome to the Club, She Loves Me).

The cast also includes local residents: Tess Dul, Bryce Edwards, Julie Heckert, Andre Herzegovitch, George Kimmel, Jenn Lee & Elizabeth Shanahan. Direction is by Donald Kimmel.
Depot audiences will recognize playwright Bond as the creator and host of the Depot's popular Cabaret in the Country series, which has brought some of NYC's finest cabaret voices to the local stage in programs such as Sondheim Unplugged, Simply Streisand and evenings celebrating the work of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Applebee's. Aliens. Jesus Christ. Disney Princesses. Show choir. Glittery nail polish: The folks down in Anitola Parish got it all. Drop by! It's more fun than church and better than a night at the Wal-Mart!
