Penguin Rep Theatre closes its 2018 season with the New York premiere of After, a new play by Michael McKeever, award-winning author of Daniel's Husband, September 21 through October 14 in Stony Point, New York.

After is described by Mr. Horn as "a timely new play that examines parenting, bullying and the fallout from a school incident."

According to Mr. Brancato, the play is "provocative and moving" as it follows the journey of two families, before and after, as they pick up the pieces once the news cameras have gone home.

The cast under Mr. Brancato's direction includes Victoria Adams-Zischke, Denise Cormier, Jolie Curtsinger, Michael Frederic and Bill Phillips.

Playwright Michael McKeever has written thirty full-length plays that have been produced around the world, including Daniel's Husband, Clark Gable Slept Here, Stuff and Mr. Parker. He is winner of seven Carbonell Awards, including the 2017 Award for Outstanding New Work for After.

His play Daniel's Husband, which was nominated for an Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Work, was produced by Penguin Rep in 2016 before transferring to Primary Stages at the Cherry Lane Theatre. A commercial production featuring the Penguin cast, under Mr. Brancato's direction, begins performances October 18 at Westside Theatre.

The limited engagement of After runs from Friday, September 21 through Sunday, October 14 at Penguin Rep Theatre in historic Stony Point (Rockland County), New York.

Performance days and times are: Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m., with matinees on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Penguin's intimate, 108-seat theatre, which is located at 7 Crickettown Road, is converted from an 1880's hay barn, and offers air-conditioning, wheelchair accessible entrance, rest rooms and seating, and plenty of free parking.

Tickets to After are priced at $46 (including facility fee and service charge). Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more and young people (30 and under).
