Irvington Town Hall Theater Presents CABARET ON THE HUDSON

Cabaret on the Hudson Music Series at the Irvington Town Hall Theater in Irvington, NY returns on Sunday, February 21 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester County, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature James Horan on piano.

Cabaret on the Hudson has two remaining performances for the 2015 - 2016 season: February 21 and April 10, all at 3pm. The featured artists for the February 21 performance will be DC Anderson, Liz McKendry and Kristoffer Lowe. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

D.C. Anderson, as an actor, has appeared on Broadway in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, on National Tour in PIPPIN, THE LIFE AND ADVENTURES OF NICHOLAS NICKLEBY, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and MARTIN GUERRE, Off Broadway in QUEEN OF THE MIST (also cast recording) and STORYVILLE and regionally with the Guthrie, Northlight, Florida Studio Theater, Workshop, Rep Theater of St Louis and Steppenwolf theater companies. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Liz McKendry got her start in Las Vegas performing in Donn Arden's "Jubilee!" before landing a spot in the Broadway musical THE PRODUCERS. After a wonderful run, Liz was also cast in the film adaptation of the show. Since then, she has collected a wide range of credits in off-Broadway, regional theater and television, including the role of Gretchen in Boeing-Boeing at Cape May Stage, in performances of Sleep No More, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum at The Paper Mill Playhouse, "The Young & The Restless" on CBS and "Mad Fashion" on Bravo. Liz recently performed in Luigi...A Benefit-Tribute Concert at The Peter Norton Symphony Space and in The Nutcracker as the Snow Queen and Mother Ginger with Alden Moves Dance Theatre. She was also seen performing at The Metropolitan Room with Rick Knight's vocal quartet "Quarter 2 Four" and in her solo cabaret show, From Buffalo to Broadway at Hallwalls in Buffalo, NY and as part of Cape May Stage's acclaimed Second Stage Series in Cape May, NJ. Kristoffer Lowe is an Alabama native, has made NYC home for the last 17 years. Recently concluding a primetime engagement at The Metropolitan Room, his show YOU'RE GETTING TO BE A HABIT WITH ME: The Songs of Harry Warren received critical praise. An award winning vocalist in the cabaret world, he is the recipient of a 2015 Bistro Award and a 2015 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award for his critically lauded show: WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO SHINE. He is the 2014 MetroStar Winner in the MetroStar Talent Challenge. He has sung at the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall and historic Town Hall, receiving the 2015 Julie Wilson Award for excellence in cabaret. Theatrical credits include: National and Canadian tour: Vallon in SHOWBOAT; NYC credits: CHESS: THE CONCERT with Josh Groban; BABES IN TOYLAND at Avery Fisher Hall. Favorite regional credits include: Padre in MAN OF LA MANCHA (Human Race Theatre), Nanki-Poo in THE MIKADO (River Rep. Theatre); Reuben in JOSEPH (Media Theatre); Lord Savage in JEKYLL AND HYDE (Trump Plaza, Atlantic City). For six months, Kristoffer sailed the high seas as lead singer aboard Holland America's luxury liner, The Veendam. He regularly performs with and serves on the advisory board for Vocal Ease, a non-profit volunteer organization that presents hour long concerts of jazz standards and the American Songbook to NYC's elderly in nursing homes, retirement communities, hospitals and drop-in centers. A classically trained tenor, he is a state winner in the 1998 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and earned the Best Diction Award in the Regional Auditions that same year. Series hostess, singer/actress Corinna Sowers Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards as well as an Excellence in Theater Education TONY Award. Sowers Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center. She has performed her solo show BY REQUEST: NEW YORK MOMENTS at BROADWAY's Supper Club - Feinstein's/54 BELOW and has toured and performed her other solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Corinna recently performed her show High Standards with Musical Director, Alex Rybeck to rave reviews at the Metropolitan Room in New York City.
