Book your tickets now for Hudson Stage's production of David Mamet's wickedly entertaining BOSTON MARRIAGE.

"Devastatingly funny...exceptionally clever-NY Times. "Brilliant...One of Mamet's most satisfying and accomplished plays and one of the funniest American comedies in years." -NY Post. "Wickedly, wittily entertaining...What makes the play...such brilliant fun is its marriage of glinting period artifice and contemporary frankness." -Boston Phoenix.

Anna and Claire are two bantering, scheming "women of fashion" who have long lived together on the fringes of upper-class society. As the two women trade barb and take turns taunting Anna's hapless Scottish parlor maid, Claire's young inamorata suddenly appears, setting off a crisis that puts the women's futures at risk. To this surprising arena, Mamet brings his trademark tart dialogue and impeccable plotting, spiced with Oscar Wildean wit.

Directed by Dan Foster, and featuring three terrific actresses who are new to our audiences. Andrea Cirie will play Anna. Ms. Cirie has been seen on the triple crown of all the LAW AND ORDERs, and has appeared regionally at San Diego's Old Globe, Hartford Stage, and the Edinburgh Theatre Festival. She is joined by the talented Amanda Duffy as Claire, who as been seen often at the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, and the Cleveland Playhouse. Recent Northwestern U. graduate, Claire Neumann, will play the role of the maid, Catherine. Executive Producers Denise Bessette and Olivia Sklar, Joel Goss, Associate Producer. Designers include Steven Kemp who gave us the fabulous set for SALVATION, new to us is costume designer Antonia Ford-Roberts, and our long-standing team of lighting designer Andrew Gmoser and sound designer Jon Kadela
