Clocktower Players Presents AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' ImageYou're stressed, I'm stressed, and who knows what scary news the future might bring. OK, everyone, time for a Fats Waller break.

Kick off Clocktower Players 2018-19 Season with AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' Saturday September 15th!

This sultry Tony Award-winning Best Musical features all of Waller's rowdy, raunchy, humorous tunes including "The Joint is Jumpin'," "Honeysuckle Rose," "Mean to Me," "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," "Two Sleepy People," "T'ain't Nobody's Bizness If I Do," "Your Feet's Too Big," "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter," "Black and Blue," "Ain't Misbehavin'" and more!

It was a time when Manhattan nightclubs like the Cotton Club and the Savoy Ballroom were the playgrounds of high society and Lenox Avenue dives were filled with piano players banging out the new beat known as swing. Five performers present an evening of rowdy, raunchy, and humorous songs that encapsulate the various moods of the era and reflect the inimitable "Fats" Waller's view of life as a journey meant for pleasure and play.

The intoxicating music will delight and energize audiences and provide great insight into a vibrant time in American history and music. Don't miss it!

The cast of Clocktower favorites - Rene O'Neal (Dreamgirls), George H. Croom (La Cage Aux Folles), Shane Bland (Pippin), Shaunice Alexander (Hair), and newcomer Saige N. Bryan - strut into the world of Harlem's Cotton Club, Lenox Avenue honky tonk dives, rent parties, stride piano players, and that new beat - swing.

They'll get the joint jumpin!
