The featured artists for the April 10 performance will be Liz Mckendry, Kristoffer Lowe, Sidney Myer, and local favorite Carole Demas. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
Producer, Nicholas Adler, of NiCori Studios and Productions states, "We have loved bringing so many artists to the Irvington Town Hall Theater and hope to see all those faces that have enjoyed it the past two years attending this season finale."
Liz McKendry, originally from Buffalo, New York, got her start in Las Vegas performing in Donn Arden's JUBILEE! before landing a spot in the Broadway musical THE PRODUCERS. After a wonderful run, Liz was also cast in the film adaptation of the show. Since then, she has collected a wide range of credits in off-Broadway and regional theater and television, including performances of SLEEP NO MORE and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM at the Paper Mill Playhouse. She was also featured in "The Young & The Restless" and "Mad Fashion" on Bravo. Future projects include UP A BALLOON, a new play written and directed by Karen Patricia McDonaldn, where Liz will star as Fay Templeton.
Kristoffer Lowe, an Alabama native, has made NYC home for the last 17 years. Recently concluding a primetime engagement at The Metropolitan Room, his show YOU'RE GETTING TO BE A HABIT WITH ME: The songs of Harry Warren received critical praise. An award winning vocalist in the cabaret world, he is the recipient of a 2015 Bistro Award and a 2015 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award for his critically lauded show: WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO SHINE. He is the 2014 MetroStar Winner in the MetroStar Talent Challenge. He has sung at the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall and historic Town Hall, receiving the 2015 Julie Wilson Award for excellence in cabaret. Theatrical credits include: National and Canadian tour: Vallon in SHOWBOAT, NYC credits: CHESS: THE CONCERT with Josh Groban, BABES IN TOYLAND at Avery Fisher Hall. Favorite regional credits include: Padre in MAN OF LA MANCHA (Human Race Theatre), Nanki-Poo in THE MIKADO (River Rep Theatre), Reuben in JOSEPH (Media Theatre), Lord Savage in JEKYLL AND HYDE (Trump Plaza, Atlantic City). For six months Kristoffer sailed the high seas as lead singer aboard Holland America's luxury liner, The Veendam.
Sidney Myer, a Booking Manager for over three decades (Don't Tell Mama, Rose's Turn and Panache), has presented artists that have gone on to careers on Broadway, television and motion pictures and received the Emmy, Grammy, TONY, Oscar and Pulitzer Prize. In 2009, Mr. Myer was featured on the front page of the Sunday NY Times Arts Section under the headline "Saviors of the American Songbook". Sidney has performed Off-Broadway, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a regular on "The Joey Reynolds Radio Show" and on Mancy Lamott's DVD "I'll Be Here With You". He has entertained in many New York clubs and at the NY, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Hamptons, Palm Springs, and London Mabel Mercer Cabaret Conventions. He is the recipient of MAC, Bistro, Broadway World, Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Classics & Paula Laurence Awards.
Carole Demas' 55 year career includes her creation of "Sandy" in Broadway's original GREASE - and thousands of leading role performances on and Off-Broadway (including two years as "Luisa" in THE FANTASTICKS NYC) and regional theater (ACT, Seattle; Penn State Rep, Milwaukee Rep, others). She originated THE BAKER'S WIFE title role in LA; Champlain and NY Shakespeare Festivals soloist. Starred in TV's iconic children's show The Magic Garden (Also hundreds of live Family concerts over 35 years ongoing), guest star classic TV dramas (Kojak, Mannix, Barnaby Jones, others) recently Blue Bloods; recurring roles (Edge of Night, As The World Turns), starred in PBS's Showstoppers - The Best of Broadway, in 200+ TV commercials, jingles, voice-overs. Featured in Schirmer Citadel and Applause books chronicling Broadway trials/triumphs. Series hostess, singer/actress Corinna Sowers Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards as well as an Excellence in Theater Education TONY Award. Sowers Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center on October 21, 2014. She recently made her solo debut at BROADWAY's Supper Club - 54 BELOW. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
