'Cabaret on the Hudson' Launches Second Season at Irvington Town Hall Theater

Cabaret on the Hudson series, a production in conjunction with NiCori Studios and Productions, returns to Irvington Town Hall Theater for its second season!

The performance will be held on Sunday, September 27 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Benet Braun on piano.

Cabaret on the Hudson will run on four Sundays for the 2015 - 2016 season: September 27, November 15, February 21 and April 10, all at 3pm. The featured artists for the September 27 performance will be Warren Schein, Maxine Linehan and Eric Yves Garcia. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

Producer, Nicholas Adler, of NiCori Studios and Productions states, "We are very excited to be returning to the Irvington Town Hall Theater for our Cabaret on the Hudson series! Music and community are very important to us. Our goal is to grow the series with more New York City talent and have it become something that the community is proud of; a series that people are looking forward to attending!"

Warren Schein has been entertaining audiences on stages throughout the tri-state area and L.A. for more than two decades. He has played leading roles in many stock and off-Broadway productions, and has been touring the cabaret and condo circuit both in the tri-state area and Florida. Warren has been performing his one-man show, Remembering Mel: A Musical Tribute To Mel Torme` to "sold out" audiences at some of New Yorks best Cabaret Clubs such as, "The Metropolitan Room", "The Iguana" and the "Laurie Beechman Theatre". His new show, "Spend An Evening With Mr. Saturday Night" is a medley of timeless music and comedy which brings together a perfect selection of the best of pop and Broadway, with outstanding arrangements, and just enough classic jokes from the Golden Era of comedy and of todays lifestyle that all audiences, young and old can appreciate. Add to that Warren's hysterical sense of improvisational comedy, and the audience will roar with laughter. Warren recently had two sold-out performances at the Theatre at "Kings Point" and at the "Villages of Oriole" in Delray Beach Florida and will be returning to Florida this season to perform in Coral Gables.

Warren's stage credits include: performing at The Herricks Playhouse production of Barefoot In The Park in the role of Victor Velasco, Crazy for You in the role of Bella Zangler. He was honored to portray Max Bialystock in the Long Island Premier of The Producers and was recently seen in the long awaited premier of the Broadway hit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels last spring on Long Island at the Star Playhouse in the role of Andre. As a voice-over artist for radio and television, Warren has been the voice of the Pillsbury Doughboy, Crispy, (the Rice Krispy M&M), and the voice of the leprechaun for Lucky Charms cereal. He has also appeared on television advertisements for The History Channel, AMC, A&E, Nick at Night, Smiroff Ice and AIG. Warren has also appeared on Saturday Night Live, Law & Order, Royal Pains, Boardwalk Empire, and in the films The Stepford Wives, Dark Room and The Orphan King. Television credits include, Royal Pains, Boardwalk Empire, Law & Order, C.S.I.

Maxine Linehan is an Irish native, adopted New Yorker, actress, singer and recording artist. Favorite roles include Charlotte in the solo play Brontë; A portrait of Charlotte(off-Broadway), The Lead Nurse in Lincoln Centre's TONY award winning South Pacific (1st National Tour), Emma in Andrew Lloyd Webber's solo musical Tell Me On A Sunday (New York), Nancy in Oliver (UK), and Maria in The Sound of Music (UK). As a cabaret and concert performer Maxine has performed at Town Hall, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, The Metropolitan Room and Birdland. Maxine has recorded three independent albums; a tribute to Petula Clark, What Would Petula Do?, a live album of her solo show An American Journey, and her new album Beautiful Songs. Maxine is a Barrister by training, studied at The Inns of Court School of Law in London, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and is a member of Actors' Equity. Maxine lives in New York City with her husband and two children.

Eric Yves Garcia (2014 Margaret Whiting Award presented at Jazz at Lincoln Center; 2014 Bistro Award for Outstanding Singer / Instrumentalist.) Honored to appear at NYC landmarks such as Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Symphony Space, 54 Below, and enjoyed multiple engagements at Bemelmans Bar and as the headliner of the Valentine's Day Show at the Cafe Carlyle. His solo show, "One Night Standards", received raves in the NY Times and Wall Street Journal, played the Brownville Concert Series in the Midwest, and overseas. Internationally, he enjoyed two weeklong runs at Club Raye in Paris, and a highly lauded debut in London at The Crazy Coqs. At home, Eric appeared at the Kravis Center in Palm Beach, The O'Neill, Landmark on Main, The Lyric Theatre, Lynn University, The Tilles Center, Ten Chimneys as well as on sea, where he joined Marilyn Maye, Billy Stritch and KT Sullivan aboard the Mabel Mercer Foundation's 'Cabaret At Sea' cruise from San Francisco to Alaska. A graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center's theatre department, an audiobook narrator and provides music for Ronald McDonald House charity events. His next solo show, 'Pour Spirits' will premiere on November 5th at the Metropolitan Room.

Series hostess, singer/actress Corinna Sowers Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards as well as an Excellence in Theater Education TONY Award. Sowers Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center on October 21, 2014. She recently made her solo debut at BROADWAY's Supper Club - 54 BELOW. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. She most recently performed High Standards with Musical Director, Alex Rybeck at the Metropolitan Room in New York City to rave reviews and will perform the show again at the Metropolitan Room on October 22nd and November 1st. www.corinnasings.com
