The SOWE (Southern Westchester) 2015 Music Festival has added two Atlantic Record breakout artists; Anderson East and Kaleo, as well local indie band, Karma Darwin, to an already amazing lineup. Fifteen world class rock, folk, alternative, and indie bands will perform in scenic waterfront Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck, NY, Saturday, September 19th, from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Attendees will enjoy two stages of live music plus an interactive family fun zone, beer garden, wine pavilion, food trucks, and craft vendors. General Admission and VIP Tickets (which include tented hospitality lounge, VIP parking, closest stage access, and refreshments) are available now for this day-long celebration. The official festival after party will be at Molly Spillane's, in Mamaroneck, NY.
Artists scheduled to perform are Felix Cavaliere's Rascals, Marc Cohn, David Johansen, Shawn Mullins, Willie Nile, Cheerleader, Steve Forbert, Kaleo, Anderson East, Andrew Belle, Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan, The Heydaze, Thirdstory, East Love, and Karma Darwin (winners of a local Battle of the Bands, curated by 107.1 The Peak). The Peak airs The SOWE 2015 All Access Radio Hour each Sunday evening, 7-8 p.m., highlighting the artists performing at SOWE, and details to help maximize your event experience.
Karma Darwin will also perform at the SOWE Music Festival VIP Press Preview on Thursday, September 3 in Elmsford, NY at the Captain Lawrence Tasting Room. The event will provide a small snapshot of the festival itself, with live music, beer from Captain Lawrence (sponsor of the festival's beer garden), as well as great food and dessert provided by returning SOWE vendor, Artuso Pastry. The 2015 SOWE Music Festival includes an exciting Family Fun Zone sponsored by the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and Westchester Family magazine.
