Festival Ballet Providence's acclaimed Up Close on Hope series presents a wide variety of works in the intimacy of its 85-seat Black Box Theatre, located on the vibrant East Side of Providence. The content ranges from classical masterpieces to exciting new contemporary works. With such a unique perspective and a variety of flavors and emotions, Up Close on Hope is truly a "dance experience without equal."
Each performance features an intermission reception with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants. Members of the company, and Artistic Director Misha Djuric often join the patrons during the intermission to discuss the performance.
